D.D. Young
D.D. "Don" Young, 71, of North Little Rock, passed away on Friday in the arms of his loving daughter. He was born November 3, 1946 in Ft Smith, Arkansas to Mae and Mack Young.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria, daughter Brandye (Rand-E), and son Donnie (Fay); four grandchildren, Taylor, Ryan, Lexi and Kayla; and three great-grandsons.
Mr. Young was a talented painter, retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 38 years of service. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason of Big Rock Lodge. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, working crossword puzzles and watching shows about Bigfoot, whom he ALWAYS believed we'd catch one day!
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday May 16 with funeral services being held Thursday 2:00 p.m. at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
