Dawn East

Dawn C. East, 80, of Jacksonville passed on into heaven this day 4th of February. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Ann East. Dawn, who was known to some as "the man with the little white dog" was born May 20, 1934. He retired as a clerk from Union Pacific Railroad and in his younger days was an assistant scout master to troop 555. He was a member of Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas
He is survived by his two sons, Bill East of Cabot, Arkansas and Randy East of Greenwood, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Rest Hills Memorial Park. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
