Dawn Althea Bradley

Dawn Althea Bradley, a longtime resident of Conway, passed away on October 21, 2022. Dawn was born on July 17, 1950, to Fred and Joyce Mauterstalk. Dawn graduated high school in 1968 and following her high school years met her first husband David Gentile; who was a Naval Officer. They bore her first son, William Gentile in 1970. Dawn met her second husband Ron Bradley and they began to build a beautiful life together. She then bore her second son; Ronnie Jr. on July 11, 1981.

She served her family and worked diligently as a food services specialist at Sallie Cone Elementary school, as a nurse’s aide, and a longtime manager of Champs Sporting Goods production factory before retiring.
Anyone who knew Dawn knew she loved her family. She sacrificed much to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing. She had very little, but gave all that she had. She was also quite the Treky; going to Star Trek conventions in her uniform with her husband Ron having a grand ole time. She had a special connection with her sister, Diane Dow, and would always be her confidant and driving buddy on trips to nowhere. And she loved her piece and solitude fishing on the banks of the Arkansas River early in the morning watching the sun light shimmer on the tops of the rivers waters. She will forever be immortalized in the sunlight’s reflections of the Arkansas River. A true Arkansian…

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Joyce Mauterstalk. She is survived by her two sons, William Gentile of Chicago, IL and Ronnie Bradley Jr. of Conway, AR; and her granddaughters, Brianna, Sierra, Aubrey and Angel, whom she loved dearly.

Her visitation memorial service will take place at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home in Conway, AR on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. www.griffinleggettconway.com.
