David Ray Waymack, 79, of Jacksonville, was born January 30, 1930 and passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 after a lengthy illness, with his wife by his side. He was a member of Runyon Baptist Church in North Little Rock, a heavy equipment operator and the owner of Waymack Contractors.
He is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Betty Heslep Waymack, of Jacksonville; daughter, Paula Rae Bartelt, of Lonoke; four grandchildren, David, Robert and Adam Bartelt and Jennifer Rorey; eight great-grandchildren, Neil, Martha, Christopher, Jacob, Alisha, Kayla Rae, Jaden and Brody; six brothers, Mack, Charles, Odis, Forrest, Jerry and Ron; three sisters, Gertie Vineyard, Louise Williams and Ann Gilliam; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Waymack and five sisters, Mary Beth Waymack, Lorene Barrentine, Alcidean Johnson, Natalie Goforth and Verlene Williamson.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Stanfill Cemetery in Jacksonville.
