David Thomas

David Thomas, age 57, of Oden, left this earth on Thursday, September 1, 2011. He was born on September 23, 1953 in Benton. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Thomas; his father, Corbet Thomas; his sister, Laura Dillard; his grandparents, James Andrew Taylor and Annie Taylor; and his step-father, Marvin Hughitt. Survivors include his wife, Grace Thomas of Oden; eight children; his mother Gussie Hughitt of Murfreesboro; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Mickey McCauley of Murfreesboro and Marvella and Gene Godwin of Dierks; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Mary Thomas of Murfreesboro, Terry and Patricia Thomas of Murfreesboro and Wendell and Angie Thomas of Mena; and many other relatives. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2011 in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
