Heaven got a little louder on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, when David Wayne "Bo" Pope, II, 44, of North Little Rock, passed away. He was born on May 8, 1971, in Little Rock. He was a smart kid, and he developed a lifelong passion for electronics, technology and a desire for knowing how things worked early in life.
Bo graduated from McClellan High School in 1989. He was a good defensive lineman for both McClellan and Batesville High Schools. He worked for Enterprise Rental Cars for a number of years, followed by Audio International and most recently, YouBreak, IFix. Bo was passionate about technology and worked as an IT specialist for most of his adult life. If you needed advice on a computer, phone, gaming system, stereo, TV or anything else technological, you called Bo. There was nothing electronic he couldn't fix. He was intelligent and curious.
Bo loved scary movies and loud stereos... really loud stereos. He loved computers and video games. But more than anything, he loved his family... his mom, dad and sister and his extended family, too. Bo adored his two perfect children... Kayla and Dakota, and was proud of them always. He always had a soft spot for little kids. We will miss his laugh, his kindness and his ability to talk to anyone about almost anything.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Kay Tucker of Little Rock, father, David Wayne Pope of Lonsdale, children: Kayla Anne Pope of Bentonville and Dakota Nikola Pope of North Little Rock, and sister, Brandye Pruss of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary and Lester Pretty of Batesville and Paul and Faye Pope of Little Rock. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock. It was Bo's wish to be cremated, and a private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a scholarship fund established for his children at PO Box 22211, Little Rock, AR 72221.
