David Patterson
David Lee "Copperhead" Patterson was born April 15, 1957 to Robert Curtis (Peg) and Frances Elaine Patterson of Traskwood. He finished his life's work on earth at the age of 55 and went on to be with our Heavenly Father to start his next life's adventure on September 28, 2012.
David was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, his beloved parents, Robert and Frances, brother, Michael Patterson and a nephew, Christopher Patterson.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Karen Patterson; children, Chrystal, J.R., Angel, Michael, Joseph, Brandy and Daniel; and friends, Tammy Jo and all "Our Gang." He is also survived by siblings, Karen McPherson of Crestview, Florida, Maureen and Paul Childress of Haskell, Marsha Davis of Traskwood, Pamela and Ron Plyler of Haskell, Deborah Bennett of Haskell and Emmett Haislip of Pensacola, Florida.
There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 4 at the First United Methodist Church of Traskwood at 11:00 a.m., with Brother Brent Thompson, pastor of Dixonville Baptist Church, officiating. Per family request, please dress casual.
