David Edward Manson, 64, of Alexander, passed away March 9, 2010. Born October 25, 1945 in Little Rock to the late Charles Calvin Manson and Myrtle Gill Manson, he belonged to Local 669 Road Sprinkler Union and was a member of Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Puckett Manson; sons, David Andrew Manson and Kevin Wayne Manson; and daughter, Elizabeth Besancon, all of Alexander; sisters, Betty Brewer (Harley) of Little Rock and Ruth Nichols of North Little Rock; brother, William Manson (Gail) of Hot Springs. Robert Manson of Hazen and Harold Manson of Vilonia; six granddaughters and one grandson.
Services will be held Friday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by interment at McPhearson Cemetery at Sardis. Visitation is this evening, Thursday, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
