David Lee Morris, age 73, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was born on October 18, 1946, in Little Rock, the son of Al Morris and Brucelle Kilpatrick Morris. On August 17, 1967, he married Linda Smead. He was preceded in death by his parents. David was a member of Center Fork Missionary Baptist Church. A United States Army veteran, he retired after working for many years as a counselor at the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center. David was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was also a Razorback through and through. David was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Morris of Hot Springs; his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Michelle Morris of Clarksville; one granddaughter, Sierra and Hunter Alford of Alexander; three "bonus" grandchildren, Noah, Kristen and Laken; one great-grandchild, River Colt of Alexander; three "bonus" great-grandchildren, Addy, Eli and Izzy; one sister, Ruth Ann and Ralph Gill of Fordyce; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jimmy and Vivian Smead; and Ryan of Hampton; numerous extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.
