David Jordan Ferguson

David Jordan Ferguson, born on March 31, 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 4, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

A proud graduate of J.A. Fair High School’s Class of 1999, David pursued his passion for electronics and electrical engineering at ITT Technical Institute. His dedication and intellect shone brightly as he achieved the honor of being a two-time valedictorian during his studies. Over the years, David applied his diverse skills across various roles, including working with Verizon, bartending, and sharing his creative talents at Michaels.

David was a man of remarkable creativity and curiosity. A self-taught musician proficient in both guitar and piano, he had a deep love for music that enriched his life and those around him. He also enjoyed playing video games and expressed his artistic side through woodworking and crafting projects. Known affectionately as the family handyman, David could always be counted on to fix what was broken or lend a helping hand when needed. His quick wit and sense of humor brought light to every room he entered and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.

David is survived by his mother, Jim Ray “JR”Ferguson; his brother, Joseph Ferguson; and his cousins Courtney Waggle, David E. Ray, his girlfriend, C.C. and his God Parents Scott and Roberta Hicks. He was preceded in death by his father, John Paul Ferguson; his grandfather Edward B. Ray; his grandmothers Florence Ray and Dorothy Willard; and his uncle David Ray.

David’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him as a kind-hearted soul with an extraordinary ability to bring joy to others through laughter and creativity. May the legacy of his warmth and humor provide comfort to all who mourn this profound loss.
