David Ivey

David Lee Ivey, 33, of Little Rock was born on June 1, 1978 and died on May 21, 2012. David was a 1996 graduate of Sheridan High School. He worked in construction but was most recently employed by the Arkansas Food Bank. David was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Little Rock. He was a devout Christian and studied the word of God faithfully. David will be missed by the many family members, friends and strangers that he said "God Bless You" to each day.
He is survived by his parents, Johnny Ivey of Canyon Lake, Texas and Ellen Rock of Littleton, Colorado; son, Gabriel Haynes of Hensley; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Becky Ivey of Bella Vista; aunt, Mary Rock of Little Rock; uncle, Alton Rock of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; aunt, Laura Johnson and uncle, Mickey Soutullo of Sugarland, Texas; aunt, Joy Soutullo, of Fairhope, Alabama; uncle, Monte Ivey, of New Braunfels, Texas; and niece and nephew, Sabra and Jacob Ivey. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Johnny Rock of Houston, Texas.
Services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Those wishing to express condolences are asked to make donations to the American Diabetes Association at (www.diabetes.org) or Arkansas Children's Hospital Foundation (www.giving.archildrens.org).
