David Honey
David Francis Honey, age 34, of Fayetteville, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016. David was born August 8, 1982 to Spencer and Judy Freeman Honey. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 2000 and attended Henderson State University.
David grew up attending Second Baptist Church where he was involved in the youth group. After high school he enlisted in the U. S, Marines, serving honorably in Albania and Iraq. David was very active with Alcoholic Anonymous serving in district leadership. He worked for Pizza Hut and the construction industry.
Survivors are his parents, Spencer and Judy Honey of Arkadelphia; a brother, John Honey of Bentonville, Arkansas; a sister, Lisa Ross (Andy) of Orinda, California; an uncle, John Freeman (Patty) of McAlister, Oklahoma and an aunt, Kerry Honey Jolly of Rolla, Missouri.
Services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, August 25th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Stan Parris officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time.
Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
