David Hickman
David Earl Hickman age 71, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 27th, 2016, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart of 51 years, Ruth Hickman, of Benton, AR; his son Jeffery Hickman, and wife, Ashley, of Owassa, OK; his daughter Melisa Bowman, and husband, Garth of Bolivar, MO; four grandchildren, Peri Elisabeth and Peyton Rye Hickman of Owasso, Oklahoma, Arabella Mae and Jayden Garth Bowman of Bolivar, Missouri.
David was born in Blackton, AR to Earl and Maxine Hickman on June 25, 1944.
He retired from Quality Foods after 43 years of service.
He is preceded in death by a son David Earl Hickman, Jr. and his parents Earl and Maxine Hickman.
David was an avid hunter and dedicated family man. After retiring, he spent many hours working in his yard. He was an active member of Benton First Assembly of God.
Reception visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, April 29, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, AR 72015. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Benton First Assembly of God, 1801 Hot Springs Hwy, Benton, AR 72019. Burial to follow at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery.
