David Head

David Shannon Head, age 61, of Bono, formerly a resident of North Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 13, 2013 with his family at his bedside. A 1970 graduate of North Little Rock High School; David worked for a number of years as an auto mechanic before returning to UALR in the early 1980's where he earned an Engineering Science degree. He loved to talk about cars, guns, and politics and dearly loved his family.
Mr. Head was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Head. Survivors include his wife, Ann Head and daughter, Rebekah Head of Bono; his mother, Nadine Head, of North Little Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Jonathan and Jeanie Head of Little Rock; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Sue Young; four nephews and two nieces.
The family will have a visitation Wednesday evening at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at North Little Rock Funeral Home. The family will hold a private burial service.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the VA for all their service.
