David Wayne Davis, Sr.

David Wayne Davis Sr.;  77, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 12, 2023. He was born in Camden, Arkansas on October 3, 1946 to Doyn Henry Davis and Susie Pauline Davis.

David is preceded in death by his father (Doyn), mother (Pauline), brother (Charles), sister (Elouise); and parents in-laws (James Carmichael and Louise Carmichael).

He is survived by Carolyn, his beloved wife of 57 years and children; Dave Davis, Davina (Eddie) Stout, Craig (Terrie) Davis. 

David had a special love for all of his grandchildren; Tarra, Shanley, Clayton (Skylar), Tylan, Halie (Corey), Chase, Carl Jr, Will, Jana (Zach). 

And great grandchildren; Destiney, Harley, Hunter Rose, Walker, Lane, Tray, Savana, Trenton, Weston, Drake, Georgianna.  

He is also survived by two sisters, Brenda (Jimmy) Shelby and Patricia (Stephan) Haney and a host of family and friends. 

He was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock for 61 years.  He was retired from North Little Rock fire department and SAU Technical College. He also served as the principal of Buckeye Christian School for many years.

Visitation will be at 10AM and the funeral service will be held at 11AM, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at First Pentecostal Church with burial following at Sumner Cemetery.
