David Clawitter

David Gilbert Clawitter, age 45, went to the arms of Jesus on May 3, 2007. David was born on May 18, 1961 at Millington NAS, Tennessee to Irvin G. Clawitter and Sherry Walls Clawitter. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents of Little Rock; his brother, Terry Len Clawitter and wife Nancy, his special friend and aunt, Dana Walls McWilliams and husband, Kevin, all of Maumelle, Arkansas; his aunt, Virginia Walls Griffin and husband, Thomas of Opopka, Florida; uncle, Charles Morten of La Marque, Texas; uncle, Bill Stone of Conway, Arkansas; cousins, other relatives and friends.
David was a very talented cosmetologist for twenty years. He was a versatile man and had many talents. He played the piano and organ, loved decorating, animals and flowers and was interested in cars. He was a compassionate and loving person who always saw good in everyone. He lived with, loved and cared for his late grandmother, Thelma Walls, for a number of years. David was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church at Hillcrest and Kavanaugh, with Pastor James Walter officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 250769, Little Rock, AR 72225 and/or Lutheran High School, 6711 W. Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205.
