Ben Buxton

Ben Buxton age 70, went home to be with Lord Wednesday, February,21 2024 Hot Springs Village, AR. Born on August 4, 1953, to the late David Buxton and Merle Weston Thornton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Daniel, Edward, Randy, one sister Lorraine, and one grandson Austin Sisney.

In his professional life, Ben dedicated himself to his work and retired as an equipment operator after many years. In his spare time Ben found solace in the great outdoors he was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed time being outdoors. He was very family-oriented and loved building memories with the family. 

He is survived by David Benjamin Jr. (Amy) Buxton of Hot Springs, Tammy (Mariano) Parris, brother Bill Buxton, sisters Jane (Chester) Rigsby, and Beth (Jack) Goslee. He was also blessed with five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Elite Hospice, "Shay our wonderful nurse" and Roger Reid.

The pallbearers will be Glen Burton, Joey Virnig, Josh Tillery, Charlie Edwards, Kyle Counts, and Jeremy Goza.

A visitation will be Monday, February 26, 2024, from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Smith Family Funeral Home - Hot Springs. 

Services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:00pm at Smith Family Funeral Home - Hot Springs.
