David Allen Wilson

David Allen Wilson, age 49, of Glenwood, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. He was born on June 24, 1969 in Hot Springs, the son of Sonny Joe Wilson and Ernestine Lindsey Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father; his brother, Donny Joe Wilson; his paternal grandparents, Austin and Fannie Wilson; and his maternal grandparents, Ernest Monroe and Ailey Elizabeth Lindsey. David was a licensed practical nurse and employed with Glenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was a 1988 graduate of Glenwood High School and member of the Moccasin Trail Hunting Club. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by five children, Tanner Wilson of Glenwood, Jonathan Wilson of Little Rock, Chance Wilson, Savanna Wilson and Makayla Wilson, all of Hot Springs; his mother, Ernestine Wilson of Glenwood; three siblings, Mike Wilson of Glenwood, Tina McCrystal of Conway and Austin Wilson of Amity; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 23, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Bobby Lock and Bro. James Owens officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tanner Wilson, Sam Brown, Jimmy Jackson, Chris Lindsey, Lance Maxey, John Henthorn, Dalton Smith and Chance Wilson. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
