David Earle Adamson, 80, of Cherokee Village, passed away January 6, 2015. He was born on March 25, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wilma (Sackett) and Chester Adamson. David attended Theodore Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and graduated in 1952. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Iowa and continued to be a life-long Hawkeye fan. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Navy based in San Diego. Upon completing his service in the Navy, he relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. He finished his career at TPC Southwind before retiring to Cherokee Village in 2006.
Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Craig Adamson and Lynn Adamson, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Natalie Adamson of Franklin, Massachusetts; nieces, Sharon Mangan (Jeff) of Phoenix, Arizona and Norma Resley (Stephen) of Millville, Massachusetts; and nephews, Steven Adamson of Albany, New York, David Adamson (Anne Marie) of Uxbridge, Massachusetts and John Adamson (Samantha) of Belchertown, Massachusetts.
