Darren Henderson

Darren Samuel Henderson, 53 of Milton, FL passed away on June 12, 2023. surrounded by his wife Kelli and their sons. He was born on November 18, 1969, to Bobby and Sharon Henderson.

Darren and his wife Kelli (Hesse) loved to travel and shared many adventures together before settling in the Gulf region of North Florida. They have four beautiful children between them, Katherine Smith of Statesboro, GA, Nicholas Smith of Milton, FL, Maya Henderson of Little Rock, AR, and Keegan Henderson of Milton, FL. Everyone has a best friend and Darren’s was blue eyed, fuzzy, Bailey Biscuit Henderson.

Darren graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BA in Criminal Justice, a Master’s in business, and a Specialist Doctorate in Education. He found his love as an educator working with young people and bringing knowledge to them. He was employed at the Learning Academy in Milton, FL. Prior to that he worked alongside his wife Kelli at Pea Ridge Elementary School in Pace, FL.

Darren is survived by his wife Kelli, his parents Bobby and Sharon Henderson and his brother Kenny all of Maumelle, AR. Holley and Hannah of Maumelle, AR, Jennifer Reeves of Fayetteville, AR, Cody Carpenter of Lonoke, AR, and Kenneth Hesse of Florence, SC. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Duard and Elise Jones. Paternal grandparents Chester and Dorothy Henderson and sister-in-law Karen Henderson.

Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:30 AM, Monday, June 19, 2023 followed by the service at 11:30 AM at Smith North Little Rock, 1921 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
