Darrell Wyatt Corbin, 64, of Little Rock passed from this life on March 8, 2022. He was born August 5, 1957 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Steve and Ilene Corbin. Mr. Corbin was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He spent many years in New York City as a D.J. for XM Radio as the Midnight Rider. Darrell had a deep love for all things music, especially 50’s 60’s and 70’s. After losing his first wife to cancer he met and married Diane, who lost her husband to cancer as well. Together they relocated to Arkansas and started a new life together. Darrell and Diane faced many obstacles together and dubbed themselves “Team Corbin.” Although they faced many challenges, they never lost sight of the important things that kept them close, such as daily 2:00pm Corbin Time Coffee Hour. In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Corbin was preceded by his siblings, Wade Corbin, Carolyn Corbin, Tammy Corbin, Charlotte Corbin, and Johnny Corbin.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Diane Corbin; stepchildren, Patrick R. McNeely of Little Rock, Heather E. McNeely-Ray and husband Will of Benton, granddaughter, Evelyn Ray, along with a host of other family and dearly loved friends.
At Darrell’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association at 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601, or a charity of ones choosing.
