Darlene Hollman, of Cabot, formerly of Gillett, was born December 18, 1927 and went home to be with her loving husband and her dear Lord on April 14, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, of 46 years; brothers, Bob and Brad Powell; and parents, Bradford W. Powell and LaVerne Ball. Mrs. Hollman is survived by her children, Tom (Nancy) Hollman, John Keith (Kay) Hollman all of Cabot, Paula (Jerry) Thompson of Benton and Deeann (Robert) White of Bayou Meto; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, David (Sandra) Powell of Bryant; sisters, Barbara Holzhauer of Gillett, Jane (Dewey) Faught of Cabot; and half-sister, Alicia Donner.
She served as Cafeteria Supervisor for Gillett Public School for 25 years. Mrs. Hollman was a member of Gillett United Methodist Church and Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Cabot.
She was dearly loved by her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She was a very loving mother who loved to fish, work outside and enjoyed working in her church, and helping anyone in need.
