Darlene Aragon

Darlene Kay Aragon, 76, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas went to be with the Lord October 13, 2015. She was born in El Dorado, Kansas on April 8, 1939 to her parents Russell and Velma (Watchous) Hacker. She was a beautician until she retired. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her children and a "MoMo" to her grandchildren. She loved to cook and care for anyone and everyone. You never left her house hungry. She lived in Kerrville, Texas for 15 years and was the neighborhood Mom to all on "the Ridge".

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents Russell & Velma Hacker, sons Michael Fitzgerald, and Joe Kevin Fitzgerald and a sister Pauline Grisham.

Survivors include her son's Jon Fitzgerald (Pamela), Beau Aragon (Mark), and Justin Fitzgerald; one daughter Patricia Bird. Also survived by a brother, Joe Hacker of California, her beloved grandchildren Jessica, J.R. and James Fitzgerald of Arkadelphia, AR; David Pearson of Kerrville, Texas; Payton and Presley Fitzgerald of Marble Falls, TX; and Ireland Fitzgerald of Kerrville, Texas. Survivors also include many friends in Texas, Kansas, Florida, California and Arkansas. Special thank you to the staff at Twin Rivers for taking such great care of her.

Memorial service will be 5:30 pm Wednesday, October 28th at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home with Tijuna Vickers officiating.
