Daphna Evans

Daphna Elwanda Evans, 88, of Maumelle passed away Monday, January 4, 2010. She was a member of Levy Baptist Church, Phoebe Sunday School Class and Women on Mission. She worked for Weingarten's Grocery for approximately 15 years where she retired and later went to work for Target.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Turner and husband Randy, of Little Rock and Pam Evans, of Maumelle; grandsons, Matt Turner, of Little Rock and Jay Turner, of Conway and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Paul Evans, son, Randy Evans, six brothers, five sisters and her parents, William and Effie Horton.
Memorials may be made to Levy Baptist Church, 3501 Pike Avenue, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Levy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
