Danny Ray Riley, 64, of Haskell, Arkansas, passed away February 20, 2019. He was born June 8, 1954 in Meridian, Mississippi to the late Walter B. Riley and Doris Ray (Madison) Woodall.
Danny worked hard providing for his family at Ed's Supply Company for over thirty years. He knew EVERYTHING about football-both college and NFL teams. Danny was a huge Ole Miss fan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family. Danny is affectionately called "Poppy" by his grandchildren who say he always made them laugh. He also liked to share a beer with his friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of forty-two years, Rose Marie Riley of Haskell, Arkansas; son, Lucas Riley and wife Stacey of Haskell; daughter, Alisha Dunn and husband Jon of Haskell; grandchildren: Freda Riley, Kara Riley, Alex Back, and Riley Dunn; brother, Keith Riley of Meridian, Mississippi; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Becky Thomas of Haskell; his Ed's Supply Company work family; many nieces and nephews; and family members and friends who love Danny and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
