Danny Norwood

Danny Norwood, age 59, of Glenwood, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

He was born on May 1, 1964, in Pueblo, Colorado, the son of Clifton Wilson Norwood, Jr. and Beverly Ann Mills Norwood.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Norwood; and four sisters, Helen Burgess, Betty Kimmel, Angela Stewart and Peggy Norwood.

On November 8, 1985, he was married to Tonya Sue Edmondson.  He graduated high school in Grannis and worked for many years in construction and plumbing.  He enjoyed fishing, working on motors, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Tonya Sue Norwood; his son, Jonathan Andrew Norwood; his daughter, Christina Michelle Norwood, all of Glenwood; six grandchildren, Brayden Norwood, Jaylynn Norwood, Cheyenne Kirkpatrick, Cameron Kirkpatrick, McKenzie Kirkpatrick and Jasmine Fogle; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Jeannie Norwood; his three sisters and one brother-in-law, Cindy and Nati Becerra, Patty Talley and Bonnie Hulbert; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Saturday, August 19, 2023, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood at 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.
