Danny Lee Kirkpatrick

Danny Lee Kirkpatrick, age 63, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021.

He was born on January 26, 1958, in Glenwood, the son of Levi Kirkpatrick and Oma Cogburn Kirkpatrick. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Danny was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed driving the backroads looking at the countryside. He loved being with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by three children, Steven T. Kirkpatrick and Malvin Kirkpatrick, both of Glenwood and Susan Davis of Amity; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Stevie Kirkpatrick of Amity; his sister, Tina Kirkpatrick of Glenwood; and several niece, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. Eric Wehunt officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Jones Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Johnathan Cogburn, Jesse Cogburn, Gene Cogburn, Robert Chambers, Steven Kirkpatrick and Gregory Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Cogburn and Granville Cogburn.
