Danny K. Pittman

Danny K. Pittman, age 64, of Amity, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1953, in Arkadelphia, the son of Art Homer Pittman and Floy Hazel Robertson Pittman. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Misty Pittman; his parents; brother, Roy Pittman; and sister, Christine Pittman. Danny was deeply loved by his family, was a true hero in the heart of his wife, and although he may be gone from our sight for now he will forever be in our hearts. Our love for Danny will be a cherished memory that will be carried on throughout our lifetime. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Shanee Pittman of Amity; his twin sons, David Pittman and Dylan Pittman, both of Amity, his daughter, April Pittman of Amity; his son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Ashley Henthorn of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Michael Griffin, Savannah Cook, Dawson Henthorn, Gatlin Henthorn, Samantha Hawkins and Danielle Hawkins; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Larae Pittman of Alpine; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Loeva Stallings of Wynne and Joyce and Herb Buehler of Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. The family will hold a memorial service at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Alpine Community Chapel, beside the Alpine Cemetery, with Bro. John McAnally officiating. The family requests that all flowers be delivered to the Pittman home in Amity. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
