Danny Wellman Crace, 72, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, Jan 12, 2017. He was born on Jan 23, 1945 to Ivol and Lorean (Smiley) Crace in Marshall, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl Allen Crace.
Danny was employed at the Senior Citizens Center with the City of Sherwood. Danny never met a stranger. And if he did, they weren't strangers for long. He lived and breathed music and always made others feel loved. He loved performing, singing, and making others laugh. He had a love for genealogy work and learning about his ancestors. He enjoyed facetime and phone calls with his kids, and he bragged about his kids and grandkids to everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sandy; she was his best friend and love of his life; He is also survived by his son, Kelley Crace and his wife, Denise; his daughter April Rogers and her husband, Lee; his son, Jared Crace and his wife, Anya; his daughter, Tracey Crace; his step-daughter, Michelle Odom and her husband, Darrell; his step-daughter Kristine Lilly; his step-daughter, Gina Braswell and her husband, Bryan; his grandchildren, Brady, Jessica, Grace, William, Megan, Melissa, Kaeli, Natalie, Nicole, Abby, Jadon, Danielle, Owen, Jillian, Colin, Bridget; and his great-grand child Gabbi.
Memorials may be made to City of Sherwood Senior Citizen Center, 2301 Thornhill Dr, Sherwood, AR 72120.
Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M., Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Burial will follow in Sumner Cemetery. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
