Daniel Vernino
Dr. Daniel Vernino, 81, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010. He was a retired Lt. Colonel, United States Air Force (Dental Corp.), an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon and a retired professor from UAMS College of Health Profession.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Vernino, of North Little Rock; two daughters, Mary Vernino, of Houston, Texas and Lisa Vernino Maher and husband, Joseph, of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Mary Colleen and Sarah Elizabeth Maher, of Dallas, Texas; sister, Genevieve Malenic, of Youngstown, Ohio; and brother, Dr. Arthur Vernino, of Leesburg, Florida.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
