Daniel Ray Longoria

Daniel Ray Longoria of Sherwood, Arkansas and formerly Weatherford, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2025 at 61 years of age. He was born March 12, 1964 in Lockney, Texas to Tina Billings. He is preceded in death by his sister, Delia Cordero, and dedicated step-dad Regie Billings. He is survived by a son, Daniel Longoria (Jacee); four grandchildren, Baylee, Ava, Dennis, and Roa, his mother Tina Billings, 3 brothers; David Longoria (Cathy), Paul Longoria (Debbie), and Michael Longoria; and many nieces and nephews.

Daniel grew up in Weatherford, Texas where he was an All-Star Baseball player and All-State Guard for the Weatherford Kangaroos Football team. He attended Howard Payne University where he continued playing football. He then spent most of his years in Weatherford working as a Salesman for various dealerships where he used his charismatic personality to become salesman of the month multiple times. He would later move to Sherwood, Arkansas to be closer to his mother and ailing stepdad in 2008. He continued his career in the car industry working as a service advisor for many more years before retiring.

Daniel loved his family with fierce loyalty. He took in his nephew Zachary and raised him alongside his son Daniel Isaiah. He was always protective of his mother and dedicated a majority of his time in Arkansas taking care of her. Daniel loved to host family and cook or grill any chance he got. He was always a jokester doing his best to make any and all laugh. Once he made sure your belly was full and your heart overjoyed, he’d whip out the karaoke machine and get the whole room singing along. Daniel also took his role as uncle and grandpa very seriously by being not so serious. He loved playing and goofing around with all his nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Daniel was always a joy and loved by all who met him. He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
