Dana L. Powell, age 51 of Sherwood, passed away March 14, 2015 at Arkansas Hospice. She was born February 16, 1964 in North Little Rock, Arkansas; and she was the daughter of William "Bill" and Janiece McDorman.
Dana was a nurse for Methodist Behavioral Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, computers, video games and cats.
She is preceded in death by her father Bill McDorman.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Powell; her mother, Janiece McDorman; a brother, Keith McDorman; a niece Sarah McDorman and a nephew, Anthony McDorman.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood with burial following at Harmony Cemetery in Mayflower, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice at 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
