Dan Peck Knight

Dan Peck Knight, Jr., 87, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away July 27, 2024. He was born August 20, 1936, in Greenville, Alabama to the late Dan and Jane Knight. 

Dan is preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 59 years, JoAnne Knight; son-in-law, Scott Daniel Olson; and sisters, Carol Knight Virden and Norma Knight. He is survived by daughters, Felicia Elizabeth Olson (née Knight) and Janna Margaret Belote (née Knight) (Robert); grandson, Damion Schroeder; granddaughter, Danielle Olson; brother, B. Ramsey Knight and a host of family and friends.

Dan loved his wife, his family, good food and tractors. He was a teacher and speech pathologist for over 30 years, last working at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. 

He will be missed as we miss all those gone before. He will be loved as all those gone before are loved. We know our mother and many people who had gone before were waiting to receive him. We know he is now with them watching over us. It’s hard not to have regrets but we know he wouldn’t want us lingering in regret, so we will say, God Speed on your new journey, Dad, and keep us all in your ongoing love and prayers up there.
