On Monday, November 19, 2007, Dan Eugene Kaufman of Little Rock passed away at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seymour and Nellie Kumpe Kaufman, and a brother, Richard Charles Kaufman.
Mr. Kaufman was a member of Crescent Lodge #403, North Little Rock, a volunteer at Baptist Rehab Institute, and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Little Rock. He worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 31 years as an Auditor in the Accounting Department.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Collie Holland Kaufman, of Little Rock; step-son, Jerome Holland (Dianna), Memphis, TN, step-daughters, Natalie Johnson (Richard), Jacksonville, FL, Jocelyn Holland, Little Rock, and Nancy Smith (Dave), Rogers, AR; nephew, David Lee Kaufman (Elizabeth); great-nephew, Scott Kaufman (Sharon); great-great-nephew, Ethan Kaufman; great-great niece, Lauren Kaufman, all of North Little Rock; and six step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 25, 2007, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, November 26, at 11:00 A.M. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Price officiating. Burial with Military honors will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
