Dallas Lyle "Bop" Weston, age 52, of Alamo, died at his home, Sunday, September 18, 2011. He was born on April 22, 1959, at Hot Springs, the son of Teddie Dean Weston and Nancy Corene Neal Weston. On May 21, 1975, he was married to Cherri Thomas. He was preceded in death by his father. Dallas was a grader operator for the Montgomery County Road Department, the founder and a charter member of Alamo Deer Camp and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Cherri Thomas-Weston of Alamo; one son and daughter-in-law, Teddy Don and Amber Weston of Mount Ida; one daughter, Lauren Weston of Alamo; two grandsons, Dallas Clay Weston and Beau Braiden Weston; his mother, Corene Weston of Alamo; one brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Sherry Weston of Mount Ida; one sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Randy Brown of Alamo; two brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Rosemary Thomas of Stonewall, Louisiana and Terry Thomas of Mount Ida; six nieces and nephews, Brittany Weston, Kevin Weston, Joshua Brown, Michael Brown, Derrick Thomas and Sarah Corley; one great-niece, Katie Jo Brown; and a host of friends and hunting dogs. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the Faith Tabernacle Church in Mount Ida with Bro. Paul Burke officiating.
