Dallas Henthorn

Dallas Henthorn, age 74, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born on December 30, 1943 in Amity, the son of Alvin Henthorn and Lois Craig Henthorn. In 1978, he was married to Treva Lambert Henthorn who preceded him in death on April 11, 2017. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Alex, Clayburn, Raymond, Micky and Jimmy. Dallas was a retired welder and "jack of all trades." He was good at carpentry, mechanics and really enjoyed restoring cars and trucks. For many years, he and Treva operated Dallas Kerr McGee station in downtown Glenwood. He also enjoyed fishing and loved being with family. He is survived by two daughters, Kim Henthorn of California and Kerry Hobbs of Oregon; two grandchildren, Kassi Henthorn of Oregon and Kenneth Henthorn of California; his great-grandson, Justin Henthorn of Oregon; his brother, Jackie Henthorn of Pearcy; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of friends and two nieces and one nephew that he was especially close to, Leah D. Lambert, Luke Lambert and Lydia Lambert. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. John McAnally officiating.
