Dale Lantrip, 69, of Scott passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008. He was a member of Highway Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, retired Vietnam veteran from the United States Navy and retired from Puget Sound Naval Ship Yard.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene (Coombs) Lantrip, of Scott; three sons, James L. Lantrip (Debora) of Gassville, Arkansas, Dale Lantrip Jr. (Anne), and Bobby Lantrip, of Port Orchard Washington; two daughters, Loretta Ledesma (Tino) of Silverdale, Washington and Rosemarie Stevens (Craig) of Lakewood, Washington; stepson, Mark E. Sharp of Port Angeles, Washington; four brothers, James, Don and Michael Lantrip and Michael Goshen; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lola Lantrip; two brothers, A.D. and Curtis Lantrip; sister, Jewel ?Evelyn? Bakalekas and stepson, Troy A. Sharp.
Dale will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
