Dale Cox

Dean A. "Dale" Cox, 85 of Little Rock, passed away on February, 8, 2011 at McClellan Memorial Veterans' Hospital in Little Rock. He was born on June 15, 1925 in Jonesboro, Arkansas; he was the son of Roy and Leora Coleson Cox.
Dale was a retired cross-country truck driver, who traveled and got to see all of this great country, he was a retired United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country in WWII, he was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Little Rock,and will be remembered as a Godly man, who loved his Lord and his family dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Leora Cox, one brother, and two sisters.
Survivors include Dale's loving wife of thirty-eight years Linda Cox of Little Rock; two sons Bobby Cox of Arlington, Texas, and Johnny Cox of Rockwall, Texas; three daughters Brenda Barnett of Kissimmee, Florida, Marilyn Schilinsky of Little Rock, and Regina Parnell of Kissimmee, Florida; thirteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Chicot Road Baptist Church in Little Rock, burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bono, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 at Huson Funeral Home in Little Rock.
