Daisy Mae Brown, 91 of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010. She was born March 24, 1919. She was a member of Brockington Road Church of The Nazarene. She served throughout her 91 years as a Sunday School teacher for children and adults. She also served as the President of the Missionary Society and served as a Board Member.
Preceded in death by her husband, Martin E. (Mart) Brown, son, Martin E. (Gene) Brown, Parents Walter H. and Minnie Belk Smith, brothers: Homer Smith, Jim Smith, A.L. Smith and Richard (Dick) Smith, Sisters: Rose Slaughter, Oneida Kuykendall, Bill Brown, Geraldine Milligan and Troy Lee Lemmer.
She is survived by her daughter Judy and husband Jack Wood, granddaughters: Cynthia (Cindy) Brown, Vicki and husband Jason Tompkins, Shannon and husband Russell Redmond all of North Little Rock, Paige and husband Danny Wright of Vilonia, grandson Richard E. Brown of Cairo, Egypt, Granddaughter in Love, Darrelyn Tyson of Sherwood. Great Grandchildren: Laura, Seth and Emily Wright, Ashton and husband Chris Butler, Jared Tompkins, Hunter and Houston Naugher, Ryan, Daniel and Essam Brown, Tara and Tianna Ratliff.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, AR, 72120. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Jon Carnes and Rev.
