Cynthia "Cyndy" Bairnsfather Wright

"Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me." – Psalms 23:4

Cynthia “Cyndy” Dawn Wright peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born on June 29, 1959, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Lee Roy and Genelle Bairnsfather.

Cyndy began her career with Amoco Oil in New Orleans and eventually became an executive assistant for the leadership of BP/Amoco in Houston. After her time in the oil industry, she briefly worked in and actively supported her husband in building what would become a national garage door manufacturing and installation business, Windsor America.

Earlier in life, Cyndy attended Grace King High School in Metairie, Louisiana, where she was a member of the drill team for all four years. She even participated in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Cyndy had an unforgettable sense of humor and could light up any room with her smile.

Cyndy is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Kerry Wright; her stepchildren, Mary Elizabeth Burgess (Mark), Hans Wright (Sarah), Phillip Wright (Elena), and Christina Schnee (Jared); six beautiful grandchildren, Bennett Wright, Lana Wright, Joey Wright, Luke Wright, Jayden Schnee, and Jordyn Schnee; her sister, Debra “Debbie” Bairnsfather; and a host of extended family and friends in Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Alan Bairnsfather; and grandparents, William and Harriet Hale, and John and Chloe Bairnsfather.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72205. A graveside memorial service will also be held at Riverview Cemetery in Monroe, Louisiana, at a date and time to be determined.
