Curtis Williams was laid to rest next to his parents, Don and Annie Williams, on January 13, 2024 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Bryant, AR. He was surrounded by his sister, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Curtis passed away on December 29, 2023. He lived a full life enriched by the many students and colleagues that he interacted with over his more than 30 years as a coach, educator, and administrator in Arkansas and Louisiana. He attended Little Rock Central High School and played baseball at Arkansas State University. He was most proud of his years as the High School Principal of Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy, AR. Throughout his life Curtis had a passion for hunting, fishing, and his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He also had a deep love for his many pets, particularly his Maltese pups Bug and Sweetie. Curtis was always outspoken about certain things he felt strongly about. At the top of the list was standing for the National Anthem and showing respect to the military men and women who served our country. Given that, memorials may be sent to the Adam Brown Legacy Foundation, 117 Bridgeview Circle, Hot Springs, AR 71913. Curtis will be missed and remembered by the many he impacted. Curtis’ sister and children invite you to a “Celebration of Life” scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024 at 6pm at the Lake Hamilton High School Arena. You may contact Richard Williams at 214-395-1662 with any questions.
