Curt Carrigan, 66, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away on July 8, 2024. He was born in Stuttgart AR to parents Conway and Ernestine Carrigan. 

Curt retired from the Navy with 22 years of service and then worked several years as a helicopter plane Captain at the Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida. Curt loved his time in the Navy and all the places he was able to travel to during his service. His first duty station was in the Philippines, followed by stations in many other foreign countries. He loved learning about new cultures, trying different cuisines, and seeing the beautiful sights the new countries offered. In his spare time, Curt enjoyed riding motorcycles, antique cars and collecting cuckoo clocks. He was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Curt is survived by his wife of 27 years, Linda Carrigan; daughter, Crystal Carrigan (John); son, Christopher Carrigan (Megan); step-daughter, Sheri Swalls (Cody); grandchildren: Annaleigh, Maysen and Beau Carrigan, Jordan Swalls (Hannah); great-grandchildren: Paisley and Parker Swalls; brother, Fred Carrigan (Shelly); sister, Betty Pinkerton; very special nephew, Shannon Carrigan (Kathy); nieces: Tiffany Carrigan, Tanya Meredith and Stacey Pinkerton; and a host of family and friends who love Curt and will miss him always. 

The visitation will be held at 1:00 pm at Smith Family Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 pm.
