Cory Collins

Cory Phillip Collins, 32, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away August 21, 2021.  He was born May 11, 1989 in Monroe, Louisiana to David and Barbara (Whiley) Collins.

Cory was an engineer with the Pine Bluff Fire Station #6.  He was fun hearted and loved others with his whole heart.  Cory was the rock of his family and the glue that held everyone together.  He was a great example to his brothers and always acted as though he was the oldest brother.  Everyone loved Cory and he made a difference in many people’s lives.  His honesty was pure and intentional.  He always told you how it was without mincing words.  Cory was a jack of all trades and could fix anything.  No matter what family asked him to do, he would do it, and with excellence.  Spending time at the ocean was his happy place.  He loved to ride the waves of the ocean with a beer in his hand.   Cory loved helping others and dedicated his life to being a first responder.  He was a true hero and will be missed always.

Cory leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife he affectionately called “Little”, Lindsey Collins of Little Rock, Arkansas; parents, David and Barbara Collins of White Hall, Arkansas; brothers: Chris Collins of Bakersfield, California and Cody Collins of White Hall, Arkansas; mother-in-law, Tammy Copeland and husband Darrell of Bismarck, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Brittany Cantwell and husband Scott of Benton, Arkansas; his brothers at Pine Bluff Fire Department Station #6; and many family members and friends who dearly love Cory and will cherish his memory.

Memorial service, under the direction of Pine Bluff Fire Department, will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, August 27 at White Hall Community Center, 9801 Dollarway Road, White Hall, Arkansas 71602.

Family greatly appreciates the outpouring of love and sympathy extended to them during this difficult time.
