Cora Evelyn Buck Hill age 88 of Arkadelphia died Friday, December 11, 2009 in Hot Springs. She was born May 14, 1921 in Alpine, Arkansas the daughter of Carrol John and Mertie Alice Loyd Buck. Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Her husband, Elder Roy C. Hill preceded her in death in 1993.
Survivors include one son, Roy W. Hill Sr. and wife, Donna of Okolona, AR; three grandchildren, Roy W. Hill Jr. and wife Tonya; Tammy McMichael and husband, Brad; Kathy Teague and husband, Ronnie; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; six brothers, Jessie Buck of Sheridan, AR; Lester Buck of Pine Top, AZ; Lawrence Buck and Wesley Buck both of Greenwood, LA; Dwain Buck of Nashville, AR; Eugene Buck of Dierks, AR; three sisters, Gwendolyn Jackson of Royal, AR; Vera Lee Mitchell of Amity, AR; and Jewel Dean Hughes of Sheridan, AR.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Howard officiating. Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
