Cora Handy

Cora Teague Handy, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010. She was born May 6, 1927 in Grubbs, Arkansas to James and Lucy Ethel Darby Teague. She was a seamstress for Kellwood Manufacturing and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her adopted son, Mark Teague, of Little Rock; sister, Ida Harrison, of North Little Rock; three brothers, James W. Teague and wife, Helen, of Red Springs, North Carolina, Frank Teague, of Hutchinson, Kansas and Burns Teague and wife, Leona, of Hutchinson, Kansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estes Leo Handy; one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
