Consuelo "Connie" Fisher, 74, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on August 29, 1941. Consuelo was a wonderful warm hearted woman who loved going to church and taking care of her family. She married Don Lambert in 1960 where they lived in Ohio. She lived most of her life as a single vibrant woman, taking care of her two children for all of their lives by herself and taking care of there home on her own. She worked most of her life at Southern Paper Box /Old Dominion Box Factory until they closed. She then went to work for Baptist Hospital in housekeeping until she retired. In December 1998 she married Loy Fisher and they were married for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband, Loy Fisher; son, Donald Lambert of North Little Rock; daughter, Melissa Burris, of North Little Rock; stepson, Michael Fisher, of Michigan; stepdaughter, Pamela Pate, of North Little Rock; grandsons, James Michael Pate, of Beebe and Shane Burris, of North Little Rock; granddaughters, Jennifer Friend, of California, Vicki Fisher, of Virginia and Brianna Fisher of West Virginia; great-grandsons, Hayden Pate and Alex Burris, and Nicholas Friend; and great-granddaughter, Allie Friend.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. April 16th, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove, Austin. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Arrangements by Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
