Connie Joann Reed

Connie Joann Reed, 64, of Conway was born on August 1, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas and passed away on March 7, 2016 in Conway, Arkansas.

She was a very caring and giving person that did so much for so many people. She never met a stranger. She could light up a room the instant she walked in. She enjoyed fishing, gambling (slots and poker were her favorites), and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved playing games with her family during the holidays (“Headbands” was her favorite). She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by parents, Henry James and Ola Mae Hampton, husband Mickey Reed, granddaughter, Leslie Anderson, sister Beverly Capoot, brother, Charlie Hampton, nephews Jim Capoot, John Hampton, Joey Hampton, Josh Farmer; and “Thither” Patsy Hampton.

She is survived by daughters, Brittney Reed and her boyfriend Jeff Brown, Julia Gail and husband Roho Anderson and Lisa Adams and a son Mike Reed. As well as grandchildren Summer Green, Evan Adams (Megan Gardner),
Erin Adams and great granddaughter, Tayler Green. Other survivors include her Siblings, Jimmy Hampton (Peggy), Bobby Hampton, Donnie Hampton (Gloria), Rhonda Barker (Johnny), Debbie Griffin (Jerry), Gail Glover, and many nieces & nephews and countless friends and family.

A celebration of Connie’s life will be held Thursday, March 10th from 6-8pm at Griffin-Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th. Street in Little Rock.
