Connie Fraley

Connie Evelyn (Looper) Fraley, 68 of Jacksonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 26, 2011 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She attended the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock where she was a lifelong, faithful saint. Connie was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker and loved her family unconditionally.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Larry Fraley; four sons, Clint (Kelli) of Jacksonville, Roger (Wendy), Tim (Paula) and Shaun (Karen) Fraley all of North Little Rock; brothers W.C. (Angie) Looper, Jr. of NLR, Clinton (Becky) Looper of Jacksonville; sisters Charlotte Gardner and Cheryl McCarthy of NLR; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Coga Looper; sister, Carolyn Sorrells.
Known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren and many others, she never met a stranger or missed an opportunity to invite someone to church. Once she met someone, they instantly became her friend for life. She enjoyed flower gardening, working in the yard, collecting antiques, and more than anything spending time with friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday evening at First Pentecostal Church of NLR. Funeral services will be at 1:00 Saturday, also at First Pentecostal Church of NLR, with Rev. J.N. Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the First Pentecostal Building Fund or to Calvary Academy, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock AR 72116. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
