Cody Austin House

Cody Austin House, a cherished son, brother, and uncle, passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 32. Born on July 10, 1992, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Cody was known for his infectious personality and boundless spirit. His presence lit up any room, and he had an extraordinary ability to make those around him laugh. As the life of the party with a heart of gold, Cody was kind and welcoming, always ensuring others felt at ease. His great sense of humor and strong organizational skills made him a beloved figure among family and friends.

Cody was passionate about many things in life, particularly motocross racing and his unwavering support for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He relished the moments spent with friends and family, especially enjoying Sunday cookouts by the pool. One of his proudest accomplishments was earning the title of "Unk" to his nephew Asher, a role he embraced with joy and affection.

He is survived by his loving parents, Tony and Stacey House; his brother, TJ House; and his sister, Kaylie Medford, along with her husband, Dustin. Cody was also looking forward to welcoming his second nephew, Brodie Medford, due in 2025. He leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles, including Greg Tucker (Laura), Brent Tucker, Johnny House, Jr. (Linda), Bill House (Chris), Al House (Leslie), Renee Stivers (Tim), Eddie House, and Amy Davis (Sonny), along with many cousins and a host of friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Nancy "Mimi" Tucker, Johnny and Pumpkin House, along with several cousins.

Cody's legacy will be honored with a visitation on November 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107). The family invites all who knew Cody to celebrate his remarkable life and the joy he brought to others. They would love to see everyone in their favorite Razorback or Polo shirt! 

Cody Austin House will be remembered as a vibrant soul whose laughter and warmth touched many lives.
