Clyde Roebuck

Clyde Hoy Roebuck, 90, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 20, 2021.  He was born June 11, 1931 in Campbells, Florida to the late Thomas and Ruth (Leigh) Roebuck.

Clyde served in both the United States Army and Air Force.  He enjoyed telling corny jokes and teasing everyone.  It was his goal to make others laugh.  Clyde was a wonderful grandfather and loved all of his grandchildren.  He good great care of his family and always placed their needs first.  Clyde loved the Lord and was a member of Highway Church of Christ.

Preceding Clyde in death are his parents; and siblings:  Alene Roebuck, Paul roebuck, James Roebuck, and  John Roebuck.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Rachel Roebuck of Benton, Arkansas; children:  Sue McManus of Montana, Diana Scribner and husband Harvey of Benton, Arkansas, and Sheila Pennock and her husband Dan of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren:  Elisabeth Schmidt and husband Rich, Mary Brewer and husband Wes, Enrique Scribner, JoAnna Lewis and husband Brandon, Victor Scribner, Deborah Scribner, Lydia Nevels, Cecilia Wise and husband Adam, Michael Scribner, Stephanie McManus, and Carolyn Feehan and husband Ronnie; a host of great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who love Clyde and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Monday, December 27, with funeral service, officiated by Bro. Richard Barton, following at 2:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
